I'm Amir, the founder and photographer behind APT Creative.
FILIPINO-born, living in Sydney for more than 11 years.
Before starting APT, I studied graphic design while working as a cafe manager and barista, where customer service was at the heart of everything I did. Through everyday conversations, I heard countless stories and came to understand that no two lives are ever the same.
That experience shaped the people-first approach behind APT Creative. Photography allows me to document people as they are, preserve the fleeting moments that matter and turn personal stories into lasting memories.
Someone recently told me, "A lot of people don't like how they look." That stayed with me. I believe there is beauty in everyone, and I love helping people see themselves with the same care and appreciation that others see in them.
Because everyone's story deserves to be seen, told and remembered.
My love for photography stems from my fascination with textures, composition, light, and shadow. Perhaps, it's also my obsession with the art of filmmaking. It's the little things, no matter how simple something may seem, that always catch my attention.
